Overview

  • Rotation volatility is the story, with multiple Questionable tags driving double digit minute swings on GSW, UTA, and NYK.
  • Several Probable stars (MIA, PHI, UTA) still matter because the downstream minute deltas are large enough to reshape value pools.
  • There are also a few clear negative minute losers, which is useful for tightening pools in both cash and single entry.

Key Pivots

Alpha Pivot

Ryan Nembhard is the top minute swing on the slate at +19.5 min if Miles Kelly is out D, with an additional +5.8 min tied to Moussa Cisse being out D. That is the cleanest path to a role change you can actually build around, because it is massive and concentrated.

In builds that are already paying for ceiling elsewhere, Nembhard becomes the primary minutes driven unlock. The main caution is that DAL has a corresponding large loser (Cisse at -17.8 min), so don’t force the wrong piece of the same situation.

Secondary Pivots

  • NYK: If Karl-Anthony Towns sits Q, Ariel Hukporti jumps +17.2 min, with Trey Jemison at +8.1 min as the next layer. That is a strong way to access minutes without needing multiple things to break right.
  • PHI: Joel Embiid P still creates a big reshuffle to Justin Edwards at +14.4 min, plus Eric Gordon (+8.6 min) and Adem Bona (+8.1 min). Treat this as a value cluster rather than a single must play.
  • GSW: Jimmy Butler Q heavily boosts the frontcourt and bench, led by Trayce Jackson-Davis (+12.8 min) and Quinten Post (+9.6 min). If Stephen Curry Q also sits, Pat Spencer gets a separate +10.8 min spike, which is a clean late swap lever.
  • UTA: Multiple tags create multiple paths, with Walter Clayton Jr. at +14.0 min if Keyonte George Q is out, plus widespread boosts if Jusuf Nurkic Q sits. This team can flip optimal construction quickly, so prioritize flexibility.

Value Targets

  • Ryan Nembhard (+19.5 min) is the most direct minutes for value conversion on the slate, especially in tighter cash style builds if DAL news holds.
  • Ariel Hukporti (+17.2 min) is a top replacement profile if NYK sits Towns, and he fits both chalk builds and small field formats where minutes certainty matters.
  • For GPP leverage, consider the GSW value tree where minutes are spread: Trayce Jackson-Davis (+12.8 min) and Pat Spencer (+10.8 min) can become slate relevant depending on which Questionable tag(s) break.

Deep Rotation Notes

DAL - Concentrated swap

  • Miles Kelly D funnels +19.5 min to Ryan Nembhard, making it the most concentrated DAL effect.
  • Moussa Cisse is a major loser at -17.8 min in the Kelly out sim, but Cisse being out separately adds +5.8 min to Nembhard.

GSW - Two trigger points

  • Jimmy Butler Q drives the biggest GSW shifts: Trayce Jackson-Davis +12.8 min, Quinten Post +9.6 min, Gui Santos +8.4 min, Pat Spencer +7.9 min.
  • Stephen Curry Q adds a separate Pat Spencer +10.8 min boost, making Spencer one of the best late swap pieces if you can keep salary and roster spots flexible.
  • Jonathan Kuminga Q pushes Moses Moody +6.4 min and Trayce Jackson-Davis +6.0 min, strengthening the idea that TJD is the stable beneficiary across outcomes.

HOU - Frontcourt and bench lift

  • Steven Adams Q gives Jeff Green +9.3 min and Clint Capela +6.8 min, with Aaron Holiday also up +5.1 min.
  • This is a straightforward minutes ladder: Green first, then Capela, then Holiday as the thinner add.

MIA - One clear winner, one clear loser

  • Kasparas Jakucionis gets hit with two separate boosts: +11.2 min from Bam Adebayo P and +14.3 min from Nikola Jovic P.
  • Jaime Jaquez Jr. is a split signal: +5.4 min with Bam, but -7.6 min with Jovic, so keep exposure modest if you are not confident which rotation path wins.
  • If Pelle Larsson Q sits, Myron Gardner picks up +6.5 min.

PHI - Value cluster behind Embiid

  • Justin Edwards leads at +14.4 min with Joel Embiid P, followed by Eric Gordon +8.6 min and Adem Bona +8.1 min.
  • Johni Broome (+5.5 min) is the deeper piece if you need to widen your pool for large field builds.

UTA - Wide distribution and one landmine

  • Keyonte George Q creates the cleanest single spike: Walter Clayton Jr. +14.0 min, plus Cody Williams +8.7 min and EJ Harkless +8.1 min.
  • Jusuf Nurkic Q spreads minutes across Cody Williams (+8.0 min), Filipowski (+6.9 min), Hendricks (+6.8 min), and others, but also tags Oscar Tshiebwe as a -5.9 min loser.
  • Lauri Markkanen P also boosts multiple role players, notably Filipowski (+8.2 min) and Kevin Love (+7.0 min), keeping UTA as a primary late news priority.

Roster Construction

  • If you are building around the cleanest minutes swing, start with Ryan Nembhard (+19.5 min) and avoid pairing him with DAL pieces taking clear hits like Moussa Cisse (-17.8 min).
  • Keep late swap flexibility for GSW and UTA, where multiple Questionable tags can redirect minutes to different teammates (for example, Pat Spencer +10.8 min vs a Butler driven frontcourt boost).
  • In tighter builds, set guardrails on the biggest negative deltas (Jaime Jaquez Jr. -7.6 min in the Jovic sim, Oscar Tshiebwe -5.9 min) to reduce dead roster spots when rotations condense.
