Overview

  • This slate has several teams where one tag flips the entire rotation, with multiple double digit minute boosts concentrated into a few replacement pieces.
  • The strongest value signals show up in DAL, CLE, MEM, and MIA, where the top replacements are gaining +14 to +19 minutes in the sims.
  • There are also real landmines: a few role players project for sharp minute cuts (-8 to -18) if the corresponding injured players return.

Key Pivots

Alpha Pivot

Ryan Nembhard is the top minutes swing on the slate, picking up +19.1 min if Miles Kelly D is out, plus another +15.8 min if P.J. Washington D is also out. When one player is getting two separate elite boosts from the same team context, it usually becomes the slate’s most important salary relief decision.

This is also a clean leverage spot inside DAL: Moussa Cisse is tagged for -17.8 min in the Miles Kelly sim, so if you were considering him as a punt, the minutes risk is not subtle.

Secondary Pivots

  • CLE: If Jarrett Allen P misses, Max Strus jumps +17.9 min and Jaylon Tyson +14.3 min. That is enough concentrated playing time to reshape both cash and small field builds.
  • MIA: If Tyler Herro Q sits, Jaime Jaquez Jr. gains +15.9 min and Kasparas Jakucionis gains +15.0 min, with Pelle Larsson also up +12.0 min. Note the volatility: Jakucionis is also -12.4 min in the Keshad Johnson P sim.
  • MEM: If Ja Morant Q is out, Olivier-Maxence Prosper (+14.8 min) and Gregory Jackson II (+13.8 min) become primary replacements. If Vince Williams Jr. Q also sits, Javon Small spikes +14.1 min while Jackson II adds another +11.1 min path.
  • NOP: Herbert Jones Q drives a big wing redistribution, led by Bryce McGowens at +15.1 min and Yves Missi at +11.6 min.

Value Targets

  • Ryan Nembhard is the clear minutes-driven value piece, with +19.1 min and +15.8 min paths tied to DAL doubtful tags. Expect him to land in the highest ownership bucket if news breaks clean.
  • Max Strus (+17.9 min) is the strongest CLE value signal if Jarrett Allen is ruled out, and he fits both cash stability and GPP builds that still want correlation from the same rotation shift.
  • Jaime Jaquez Jr. (+15.9 min) is a priority conditional value if Tyler Herro sits, but treat MIA as a true late-news leverage tree given Jaquez also has a -7.6 min hit tied to Nikola Jovic P.

Deep Rotation Notes

CLE - Secondary minutes and fades

  • Dean Wade P being out/limited pushes Chris Livingston +12.4 min and Tyrese Proctor +8.4 min, while Lonzo Ball takes a -8.3 min hit.
  • If Jaylon Tyson Q misses, Nae'Qwan Tomlin adds +5.2 min on top of his +6.0 min path in the Jarrett Allen sim.
  • Thomas Bryant shows up as a steady beneficiary in multiple CLE trees (+5.0 to +5.1 min), useful for large-field lineup flexibility when you need a lower-owned piece from the same rotation event.

DAL - Secondary beneficiaries

  • If P.J. Washington D sits, Caleb Martin (+9.9 min) is the next notable wing/forward add after Nembhard.
  • Dwight Powell (+7.7 min), Jaden Hardy (+7.4 min), and Dante Exum (+5.9 min) are all viable deep GPP filler depending on how salary and ownership fall.

MEM - Watch the double-Q stack

  • Morant out gives Scotty Pippen Jr. +7.4 min and Vince Williams Jr. +7.1 min, but Koloko is flagged for -12.3 min in that same tree.
  • If Vince Williams Jr. also sits, Javon Small becomes a real minutes piece (+14.1 min) and Jackson II/Prosper get additional boosts (+11.1 and +8.5 min).

ORL - Cleanest single-tag value

  • With Jalen Suggs D, Jase Richardson gains +13.8 min and Noah Penda +9.1 min.
  • Tristan Da Silva is a clear downgrade at -5.0 min in that same scenario.

LAL - Straightforward guard minutes

  • Gabe Vincent D funnels minutes to Jake LaRavia (+10.1 min) and Bronny James (+7.2 min), making this one of the simpler late swap decisions if you need a minutes floor.

MIN - Pure conditional tree

  • If Anthony Edwards Q sits, Joe Ingles leads at +12.4 min, with Rob Dillingham +8.3 min behind him.
  • Conley and Jaylen Clark both show +5.9 min, keeping MIN as a multi-piece rotation puzzle rather than a single lock button.

Roster Construction

  • If you are building around DAL news, prioritize Ryan Nembhard and treat it as a core value decision, then use the remaining slots for higher-variance GPP pieces from the MEM or MIA Q trees.
  • When you play the CLE minutes event, keep it tight: Max Strus (+17.9 min) is the cleanest add, while limiting exposure to negatively flagged pieces like Lonzo Ball (-8.3 min) if that Wade scenario is in play.
  • In large-field builds, lean into the double-tag branches (MEM and MIA) where multiple teammates gain +12 to +15 minutes, but be ready to pivot off the clearly negative outcomes like Koloko (-12.3 min) and Cisse (-17.8 min).
