Overview

  • Rotation volatility is the story, with multiple questionable and doubtful tags driving double digit minute swings across several teams.
  • Indiana is the clear decision point, where one doubtful tag fans out into multiple +15 to +25 minute outcomes.
  • There are also a few sharp landmines (notably negative deltas) that can quietly break otherwise solid builds.

Key Pivots

Alpha Pivot

Kam Jones is the slate’s cleanest minutes lever, popping to +25.2 min if Pascal Siakam D sits. That kind of role spike is the engine for both optimal cash construction and high raw-point ceilings when the field is forced into the same value pool.

Indiana also stacks multiple paths to his minutes: Andrew Nembhard Q adds another +24.5 min outcome to Jones, and Ethan Thompson Q still gives Jones +17.7 min. When a value node is supported by several independent tags, it becomes harder to fade outright and more important to manage how you differentiate around it.

Secondary Pivots

  • If you are playing the Indiana chain beyond Jones, Taelon Peter (+21.8 min) and Ethan Thompson (+17.9 min) are the next biggest beneficiaries of Siakam D, with Johnny Furphy also spiking (+16.0 min).
  • Atlanta’s biggest swing is Nickeil Alexander-Walker Q pushing Caleb Houstan to +16.9 min and Asa Newell to +16.4 min, but note Houstan has his own tag D creating additional volatility.
  • The Lakers note is straightforward: Jaxson Hayes P corresponds with Kobe Bufkin at +16.7 min, which is slate-relevant if you need a clean minutes based filler.
  • Philadelphia has a sharp split: Joel Embiid P boosts Justin Edwards (+14.9 min), but MarJon Beauchamp D pulls Edwards back (-6.5 min). Treat Edwards as news-sensitive, not a set-and-forget click.

Value Targets

  • Kam Jones (+25.2 min) is the premier salary relief piece if Pascal Siakam D is out, and he stays viable through other Indiana tags (ex: +24.5 min with Andrew Nembhard questionable).
  • Taelon Peter (+21.8 min) and Ethan Thompson (+17.9 min) are the most direct secondary savers in the same Indiana scenario, best used to unlock balanced builds or double spend lineups.
  • Kobe Bufkin (+16.7 min) reads as a clean minutes-based plug if you are prioritizing stability over thin, multi-tag rotations.

Deep Rotation Notes

ATL - Volatility cluster

  • Asa Newell gets multiple boosts: +13.6 min (Jalen Johnson questionable), +16.4 min (Nickeil Alexander-Walker questionable), and +5.6 min (RayJ Dennis doubtful).
  • Caleb Houstan shows +16.9 min (Nickeil Alexander-Walker questionable) but also carries an ATL tag that hits Mouhamed Gueye (-7.1 min).

DAL - Bigs and fringe guards

  • Dwight Powell picks up +10.4 min if Daniel Gafford D sits.
  • Khris Middleton Q spreads minutes to Moussa Cisse (+13.1 min) and Ryan Nembhard (+10.7 min), but Miles Kelly Q creates a direct negative for Cisse (-9.9 min).

IND - Don’t ignore the landmines

  • Siakam D reduces Andrew Nembhard by -5.3 min in that outcome, so be careful stacking Nembhard alongside the Siakam-out value.
  • Quenton Jackson Q is a major swing point for Johnny Furphy (-15.2 min), which matters if you are using Furphy as part of the IND value build.

LAC - One clear loser

  • John Collins Q gives Jordan Miller a sharp haircut (-14.9 min), making Miller one of the easiest rotation fades in this dataset.
  • If Kawhi Leonard Q sits, Cam Christie (+12.0 min) and TyTy Washington Jr. (+5.5 min) become the primary minute beneficiaries.

LAL - Secondary wings

  • Rui Hachimura Q pushes Jake LaRavia (+11.6 min) and Dalton Knecht (+8.6 min).
  • Drew Timme is the negative note in that tree (-5.8 min).

MIA - Mixed signals

  • Myron Gardner (+9.9 min) and Kasparas Jakucionis (+7.0 min) benefit if Davion Mitchell Q sits.
  • Kel'el Ware (-7.9 min) and Vladislav Goldin (-6.4 min) are clear downgrades in the same scenario.

ORL - Straightforward guard lift

  • Jase Richardson (+13.1 min) is the cleanest boost if Jalen Suggs Q is out, with Noah Penda (+9.7 min) as the next tier.

PHI - Two tags, opposite effects

  • Embiid P boosts Justin Edwards (+14.9 min), Adem Bona (+9.0 min), and Trendon Watford (+8.0 min).
  • Beauchamp D reduces Edwards (-6.5 min) and Dominick Barlow (-6.5 min), so avoid overconfidence until news resolves.

UTA - Frontcourt branching

  • Lauri Markkanen Q is the cleanest path to Kyle Filipowski (+8.3 min) and Oscar Tshiebwe (+8.1 min).
  • Markkanen also pulls Svi Mykhailiuk back (-5.6 min), a quiet but meaningful downgrade.

WAS - Small but usable

  • Will Riley gets a +7.6 min bump if Tristan Vukcevic Q sits.

Roster Construction

  • Start builds by deciding how you want to handle Indiana’s top value node: if you roster Kam Jones (+25.2 min), use that flexibility to differentiate with midrange combinations rather than forcing extra thin value.
  • In multi-entry GPPs, be intentional about which IND secondary you pair with Jones (ex: Taelon Peter +21.8 min vs. Ethan Thompson +17.9 min) to avoid duplicating common roster shapes.
  • Trim exposure to the clearest minute losers (-14.9 min Jordan Miller, -15.2 min Johnny Furphy in the Quenton Jackson scenario, and the MIA negatives) when building around fragile news trees.
