Overview

  • Indiana is the clear rotation hotspot with multiple questionable tags driving slate-shaping minute swings.
  • Utah and Phoenix also have meaningful ripple effects, including one Doubtful tag that can consolidate minutes quickly.
  • There are several sharp negative deltas mixed in, so not every “next man up” is actually helped.

Key Pivots

Alpha Pivot

Ethan Thompson is the biggest pure minutes winner on the slate at +22.0 min in the Aaron Nesmith Q scenario. That is the kind of shift that can force value into both cash builds and the most common GPP constructions.

The important note: Indiana has multiple separate injury paths that also push Thompson (for example +18.5 min with T.J. McConnell Q and +18.1 min with Pascal Siakam Q), so he is not a one-thread value story. If those tags start breaking the same direction, Thompson becomes a central decision point for roster construction.

Secondary Pivots

  • Indiana ceiling cluster: Kam Jones spikes to +21.8 min with Pascal Siakam Q and +20.5 min with Aaron Nesmith Q, but also has downside branches (for example -11.5 min with Ben Sheppard Q and -8.8 min with Micah Potter Q). Treat him as a high-upside but news-sensitive piece.
  • Indiana secondary value: Taelon Peter gets +19.9 min with Pascal Siakam Q and +9.3 min with Andrew Nembhard Q, but also shows meaningful negative outcomes in other branches (for example -10.6 min with Micah Potter Q). Tighten your exposure to lineups that assume “any IND Q helps everyone”.
  • Utah consolidation: Andersson Garcia +18.9 min and Bez Mbeng +13.6 min pop if John Konchar is Q. This is one of the cleaner, single-source rotation shifts outside IND.
  • Phoenix Doubtful impact: Royce O’Neale D pushes Jordan Goodwin +12.6 min and Oso Ighodaro +12.5 min, creating a straightforward minutes funnel with fewer competing Q tags than IND.

Value Targets

  • Ethan Thompson (+22.0 min with Aaron Nesmith Q) is the clearest minute-driven salary relief candidate, and he stays in play across multiple Indiana injury paths.
  • Jordan Goodwin (+12.6 min with Royce O’Neale D) profiles as clean chalk value if that tag holds, while Oso Ighodaro (+12.5 min) is a direct alternative in similar builds.
  • Jett Howard (+11.8 min with Wendell Carter Jr. Q) is the most direct Orlando minutes boost, but note the same branch dings Franz Wagner (-7.9 min), which can change how you stack that game environment.

Deep Rotation Notes

IND - Volatility management

  • Indiana has both massive winners and massive losers depending on which questionable tag you’re playing through. The same “affected” player can swing from strong positive to sharp negative across different branches.
  • Red flags for thin minutes: Johnny Furphy shows -15.2 min with Quenton Jackson Q and -13.7 min with Micah Potter Q, while Jalen Slawson takes -19.2 min with Jalen Slawson Q (self-branch impact) and -7.5 min with Andrew Nembhard Q.

UTA - Clear beneficiaries

  • Konchar Q creates a straightforward bump for Andersson Garcia (+18.9 min) and Bez Mbeng (+13.6 min).
  • EJ Harkless is the clear loser in that same scenario at -7.8 min.

PHO - One-tag clarity

  • Royce O’Neale D concentrates minutes into Jordan Goodwin (+12.6 min) and Oso Ighodaro (+12.5 min), with secondary boosts to Rasheer Fleming (+11.0 min) and Khaman Maluach (+8.5 min).
  • Jamaree Bouyea is the main negative at -5.2 min, which matters if you were cycling deep punt pools.

LAL - Secondary pieces open up

  • Austin Reaves Q pushes Kobe Bufkin +16.2 min, with additional boosts to Jake LaRavia (+8.0 min), Jarred Vanderbilt (+6.5 min), and Dalton Knecht (+6.4 min).
  • This is a good spot to build 2v2 swaps, because the minutes are spread across multiple roles rather than one replacement.

ORL - Mixed outcomes

  • Wendell Carter Jr. Q gives Jett Howard +11.8 min and Noah Penda +10.7 min.
  • The same branch pulls down Jonathan Isaac (-5.2 min) and Franz Wagner (-7.9 min), so be careful about assuming the frontcourt absence lifts the whole rotation.

CLE - Guard rotation shift

  • Donovan Mitchell Q boosts Tyrese Proctor (+11.0 min) and Craig Porter Jr. (+6.4 min).
  • This is a compact two-player benefit tree, useful for late swap if Cleveland news breaks close to lock.

DAL - Two different levers

  • Caleb Martin Q adds minutes to Dereck Lively II (+6.5 min) and AJ Johnson (+5.9 min).
  • Tyler Smith Q goes the other way for Ryan Nembhard (-8.8 min), a strong indicator to avoid him if that scenario is live.

MIL - Bench minutes, one notable loser

  • Gary Harris Q and Kevin Porter Jr. Q both point to Pete Nance (+12.8 min and +6.5 min) as the shared beneficiary, with KPJ Q also lifting Ousmane Dieng (+5.9 min) and Gary Trent Jr. (+5.6 min).
  • Jericho Sims is a clear negative at -9.0 min in the KPJ Q branch.

LAC, MIA, WAS - Smaller ripples

  • Kawhi Leonard Q spreads minutes to TyTy Washington Jr. (+6.7 min) and Cam Christie (+6.6 min).
  • Miami boosts Kasparas Jakucionis (+8.6 min) with Pelle Larsson Q, and Nikola Jovic (+7.7 min) with Simone Fontecchio Q.
  • Washington is a single-node bump: Will Riley +6.2 min with Tre Johnson Q.

Roster Construction

  • Prioritize the cleanest extreme minutes: build around Ethan Thompson (+22.0 min) and pair with one or two stable, non-volatile minutes spots from teams without multi-branch uncertainty in this data.
  • In GPPs, use Indiana as a leverage lever by choosing one clear injury story (for example Siakam Q paths) and limiting exposure to players with repeated negative branches like Johnny Furphy (-15.2 min) and Jalen Slawson (-19.2 min).
  • Avoid forcing fringe punts that show -8.0 min or worse (for example Ryan Nembhard -8.8 min, Jericho Sims -9.0 min) unless your lineup is explicitly built to benefit from that specific injury branch.
