Overview

  • Indiana carries the slate's largest contingent minute swings, with multiple Pacers teammates jumping above +15.0 min in the simulations.
  • Questionable tags are spread across CHI, WAS, MIA, GSW, ATL, and MEM, so late swap flexibility matters more than usual.
  • The downside is also concentrated, with notable negative hits for Baylor Scheierman, L.J. Cryer, Jahmai Mashack, and several secondary frontcourt pieces.

Key Pivots

Alpha Pivot

Kam Jones owns the slate's biggest simulated gain at +21.8 min, tied to Pascal Siakam P. That is the top raw minute swing on the board, and it comes inside the same Indiana rotation cluster that also boosts Taelon Peter (+19.9), Ethan Thompson (+17.4), Jalen Slawson (+16.5), and Johnny Furphy (+16.0).

For DFS, that makes Indiana the clear late news hub. The ceiling is obvious if this rotation opens, but because the trigger is still tagged Probable, this is more of a contingent tournament and late-swap spot than a blind early-lock value core.

Secondary Pivots

  • Jalen Slawson and Johnny Furphy are right behind the alpha tier through Obi Toppin P, gaining +18.4 min and +15.7 min. Slawson is especially important because he also picks up +16.5 min in the Siakam scenario.
  • Yuki Kawamura is one of the cleanest non-Indiana boosts at +11.5 min off Nick Richards Q. CHI also gives Collin Sexton a +5.9 min bump while pushing Rob Dillingham (-6.0) and Jalen Smith (-7.4) the other way.
  • Peyton Watson (+11.1) and Julian Strawther (+9.5) headline Denver if Aaron Gordon P changes the rotation. It is a strong value path, but it is still attached to a Probable tag.
  • Carlton Carrington (+11.2) and Will Riley (+9.9) are the key Washington names. That team is more volatile than the raw numbers suggest, though, because other WAS injury sims also pull minutes away from Riley and Julian Reese.

Value Targets

  • Kam Jones is the top tournament value path on pure minutes at +21.8 min. Because it is tied to a Probable Pacers trigger, it fits better as a late-swap or leverage build than a cash core.
  • Yuki Kawamura (+11.5) and Carlton Carrington (+11.2) are the cleaner salary savers if their Questionable tags break the right way before lock. Those are the strongest fits for chalky builds because the boosts are direct and sizable.
  • Peyton Watson (+11.1) and Myron Gardner (+10.3) round out the next value tier. Watson is more contingent because Aaron Gordon is Probable, while Gardner comes from a more straightforward Questionable setup.

Deep Rotation Notes

ATL - Narrow boosts

  • Christian Koloko gets the meaningful ATL bump at +9.7 min off Jock Landale Q.
  • Asa Newell is a smaller secondary gain at +5.4 min if RayJ Dennis matters.

BOS - One clear loser

  • Amari Williams gains +5.5 min off Ron Harper Jr. Q.
  • Baylor Scheierman takes a sharp -11.3 min hit, which makes BOS more of an avoid spot than a value source.

GSW - Thin rotation swings

  • Omer Yurtseven picks up +7.8 min if Gary Payton II Q changes the rotation.
  • Pat Spencer (-7.6) and L.J. Cryer (-14.0) are the main players losing ground in the Warriors sims.

MEM - More downside than value

  • Tyler Burton (+6.7) and Rayan Rupert (+5.9) are the only notable Memphis gainers.
  • Gregory Jackson II is hit in two separate sims at -6.0 min and -7.5 min.
  • Jahmai Mashack carries one of the slate's biggest drops at -17.3 min.

MIA - Secondary value pool

  • Myron Gardner leads the Heat boosts at +10.3 min off Andrew Wiggins Q.
  • Kel'el Ware (+6.9), Simone Fontecchio (+6.7), and Nikola Jovic (+5.5) also gain, while Vladislav Goldin loses -5.7 min.

UTA - Single note team

  • Blake Hinson is the only Utah player showing a boost, gaining +6.3 min off EJ Harkless Q.
  • That keeps UTA as a fringe value team rather than a core injury target.

WAS - Conflicting outcomes

  • Carlton Carrington at +11.2 min is the cleanest Washington boost from Bilal Coulibaly Q.
  • Will Riley swings hard from +9.9 min with Alexandre Sarr Q to -8.3 min with Leaky Black Q.
  • Julian Reese is similarly unstable, showing +5.7, -6.9, and +6.8 min across different WAS triggers.

Roster Construction

  • Treat Indiana as the slate's main late-swap hub. If you want access to Kam Jones or Jalen Slawson, keep flexible roster spots open because the biggest boosts are tied to Probable tags.
  • For tighter cash builds, start with the cleaner Questionable-driven paths like Yuki Kawamura, Carlton Carrington, and Myron Gardner once news is confirmed.
  • Limit exposure to players taking -7.0 min or worse hits, especially Baylor Scheierman (-11.3), L.J. Cryer (-14.0), Jahmai Mashack (-17.3), Jalen Smith (-7.4), and Zach Edey (-7.6).
