Overview

  • Several teams carry real rotation swing points tonight, with the biggest minute spikes clustered in MIL, IND, DAL, BRK, and PHI.
  • The largest raw gains are mostly tied to probable tags, so late swap matters more than all-in prelock exposure.
  • PHI and DAL offer the cleaner paths to stable value behind doubtful statuses, while CHI is the messiest spot with overlapping guard outcomes.

Key Pivots

Alpha Pivot

Pete Nance is the biggest pure minute winner on the slate at +26.3 min if Ryan Rollins P is ruled out. That is the kind of raw playing time jump that can break a slate even before you layer in price or positional fit.

The same Milwaukee branch also gives Cormac Ryan +22.1 min, so this is not a one-player bump. Because the trigger is only a probable tag, this setup is better treated as tournament and late-swap leverage than as a prelock cash foundation.

Secondary Pivots

  • Kam Jones and Taelon Peter headline the Indiana tree if Pascal Siakam P sits, picking up +21.2 min and +19.5 min. Ethan Thompson at +16.8 and Johnny Furphy at +16.0 keep this one of the slate's biggest conditional ceiling spots.
  • Tyson Etienne has one of the cleanest multi-path boosts on the board. He gains +17.8 min if Noah Clowney P misses and still gets +6.8 min off Nic Claxton P, while Malachi Smith and Day'Ron Sharpe both clear +11.0 min in the Claxton branch.
  • Dalen Terry at +12.5 min and Justin Edwards at +11.9 min are the strongest Philadelphia reactions if Joel Embiid D remains out. That is one of the more actionable value pockets because the status already leans toward absence.
  • Dallas has broad frontcourt fallout. Tyler Smith gets +12.3 min off Marvin Bagley III D and +10.7 min off P.J. Washington D, while AJ Johnson picks up +7.9 min and +9.8 min in those same branches.

Value Targets

  • Dalen Terry and Justin Edwards fit the cleanest chalk builds if Embiid sits. Both clear +11.0 min, and the doubtful tag makes that path more stable than the big probable-driven trees.
  • Tyler Smith looks like the best Dallas value lane if the frontcourt news holds. AJ Johnson is close, but Tyler owns the bigger direct boosts at +12.3 min and +10.7 min.
  • Tyson Etienne is a sharper tournament value because Brooklyn gives him multiple ways to open. That makes him easier to carry in flexible builds than one-branch punt plays.

Deep Rotation Notes

CHI - Guard volatility

  • Yuki Kawamura gains +8.2 min off Josh Giddey, +7.8 min off Nick Richards, and +10.4 min off Tre Jones.
  • The same team can also pull him backward by -5.4 min if Mac McClung sits, so this is a news-sensitive spot rather than a blind lock button.
  • Leonard Miller is one of the clearest fades when Chicago news breaks against him, taking -8.7 min off Giddey and -18.6 min off Tre Jones.

MEM - Fringe redistribution

  • Adama Bal, Jahmai Mashack, and Tyler Burton gain +7.5 min, +6.8 min, and +5.3 min if Olivier-Maxence Prosper remains out.
  • The negative side matters more here. Gregory Jackson II is down in both Memphis trees, and Javon Small takes a sharp -12.3 min hit.
  • Zach Edey also loses -7.6 min in the Taj Gibson branch, which keeps Memphis more fringe than core.

SAC - Secondary value tree

  • Isaiah Stevens, Devin Carter, and Doug McDermott lead the Malik Monk scenario at +9.0 min, +8.4 min, and +8.2 min.
  • Nique Clifford and Daeqwon Plowden also get usable bumps, but they sit behind the top three in raw minute gain.
  • Dylan Cardwell moves the other way at -5.2 min.

ATL - Thin last-piece note

  • Asa Newell is the only clear Atlanta reaction, gaining +5.2 min if RayJ Dennis sits.
  • That is workable as a deep tournament filler, but it is a much smaller swing than the main value pockets on this slate.

Roster Construction

  • Build your safer cores around PHI and DAL if those doubtful tags hold. Save the biggest MIL, IND, and BRK probable branches for tournament swaps.
  • If you are preserving flexibility, leave room to pivot into Pete Nance at +26.3 min or Kam Jones at +21.2 min when late news lands.
  • Trim exposure to the sharpest downside pieces once news turns, especially Leonard Miller at -18.6 min, plus John Poulakidas at -13.1 min, Lachlan Olbrich at -12.8 min, and Javon Small at -12.3 min.
